ActiveX Control Problem

Dear All,

Please, provide a solution about ActiveX control. I have registered it in system. I am running web page as html (Local) it is working fine but when this is accessing through internet (server) this html file it is not running how ever prompt message add activex blocked (and added).

Solution is required to run activex control through web server however IE security -> internet/Local set in the browser options.

The was provided below that was not suite able which i have explained already Actually, there is same problem ActiveX is not enable or Running when it is accessing through internet.

Who needs such Web applications? With ActiveX, they will work only on Windows, set of Web browsers also must be limited...

Solution 1

have you checked browser setting.

InternetExplorer --> Tools --> InternetOntions --> Security --> Custom Level under ActiveX controls and Plug-ins, enable ActiveX control setting

enable following
1. Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe for scripting
2. download unsiged ActiveX controls
3. Automatic prompting for activeX control
