I am to design a quick search utility that would enable users to search and retrive data from the database. So far i have created forms that get the imput, the text files where the data would be stored. Now am failing to achive one objective i.e to retrive information from the text file and displaying it in a listview which is a component i have incoporated in a form. Help, How do i do this?

And what information are you trying to retrieve? Your question is not specific enough for us to be able to help here. For instance, are you trying to retrieve the whole document, the document name, the text on the line that the information occurs at? Without this level of detail, we really cannot offer you any further help.
