Php/MySql error statement doesnt execute

I have a Sql statement , it runs in phpmyadmin but when embedding it directly into my page I get this error

Zend_Db_Statement_Mysqli_Exception' with message 'Mysqli prepare error: Column 'id' in where clause is ambiguous'

Id appreciate it if anyone could help
