Iam a software developer with 2 years of experience in .net and sql server 2005 . I called for an interview whis is for experienced candidates in pl/sql .i know how to write store procedure, triggers, functions in sql server 2005.But when i searched more about that term i found that pl/sql is programming language for only oracle.but somebody says that if i can write stored procedures, triggers, functions in database so you can attend interview. Please clarify whether pl/sql is only for oracle or its a common term.

Thanks in Advance

It is not exactly only for Oracle:[^].

If you read your own question, you well see that this question is unrelated to "you can attend interview". Of course attend it, get your chance and get some experience. It looks like in some companies people like candidates who will do what they are told to do instead of doing some research on the Web by themselves.
