Why not?
Because we know absolutely nothing about they way you are doing things.
However, the fact that you are asking the question, implies that you are doing it the wrong way. I would suggest you have a look at implementing Membership in your site - it is very simple to do, and takes most of the hassles away from you. MSDN : Introduction to Membership[^]
