Hello all the experts.
my question is why windows server 2003 sp2 doesn't allow to install visual studio?
it asks me to install windows server 2003 sp1. i don't have one.
now anyone can suggest me what to do?
i want to run my asp.net application on server.
it also doesn't allow me to intall sql server without sp1.
i have already installed .net framework 2.0 on server but my application is database based application.
now what to do?
please tell me

There is no reason to install Visual Studio on a server just to run ASP.NET. All you need is IIS and the .NET Framework.

thanks a lot for your answer sir i tried to run my application after configuring it to IIS and installing .net framework but it gave me an error related to database that sql server doesn't allow connections remotely now what can i do for that?

I understand beginners don't know everything but most error messages have been documented and a simple search for this will provide you with many answers. Learning to search is an important skill.

You solve this by doing as I said. Learn how to search. This a very common error. You will not get very far in this field without learning this skill.
