Apply Effect when Click Button

Hi all,

Now I'm starting using Ms Expression Blend 4 + Sketchflow. Here the situation. I make a button and add effects to button eg: blur on certain timeline. The problem is how can I apply this effects when I click the button? I already search in Internet but quite hard to understand and also in youtube but they teach a different thing for intermediate level. I don't familiar with Expression Blend but I'm attract to learn this. So anyone could share with me the link of tutorial for dummies/beginner?

I'm using VB.NET code and WPF on Expression Blend..
