Image Effects in VB.net, anyone please?

im doing a Photo Stone Engraver in vb.net.
the photo is automatically converted to grayscale

i've got a problem in the effects:
*contrast
*noise reduction
* enhance line(increase line strength)
*Binarization (threshold value)

i don't know how to do these effects and embedding it on a scrollbar.
