wpf inkcanvas shapes

hi all hope you can help.
I am making a wpf paint program with a inkcanvas and i want the user to be able to select a shape from a button and the be able to draw with that shape on the inkcanvas.
Any help please.

yes i need to be able to draw the shape when the user clicks the button then they draw on the inkcanvas i want the shapes to be drawn at the point of the mouse. could do this with canvas but unsure with inkcanvas
