Check Existing Folder in FTP Server

Hi all,

I want to send a file into FTP server. But first it will make sure whether folder in server are existed (folder named by date) or not. If the folder exist, it will send the files into it. If not, it will create folder named by date and send the file into the folder..I already search but they show the step for uploading .txt files. How could I know how to send the image file one by one? Could someone give me a link? I don't want to send the whole file. I want to send one by one..tq
