Can anybody tell me how FreeDNS or No-ip programs work?

Hello, I'm trying to make a server to do some stuff like video streaming, but I can't because I'm stucked under a router, so I need a DNS, I have one but I need a program to contantly update my IP with the server.

Can somebody help me out?

1. Integrate No-IP[^]
2. Bind your server`s dynamic ip address to DynDNS.org[^]
3. C# class to update DynDNS[^]

Well what if I'm under multiple routers+switches.. like a dorm?

There should be no problems if the HTTP is not blocked.
