Solution 1

Replace this:
<asp:TextBox ID="txtFirstname"'<%# Eval("Firstname") %>'   runat= "server" />

with:
<asp:TextBox ID="txtFirstname" Text='<%#Eval("Firstname")%>' runat= "server" />


Do you see the difference?

For the ASP.NET TextBox control, the property name is Text, not Value. :)
