Problem in exporting contents of a Lookup field to Excel spreadsheet

I have a custom list with with few lookup fields, when I export the custom list data to Excel spreadsheet the lookup columns values displays like 5;#India, 14;#US, 23;#UK ... is there any way to show the values like India, US, UK avoiding unnecessary numeric's and characters
