How to submit data into database using RDLC report in asp.net.

1) Create their roll no slips using RDLC reporting feature for eligible students.
2) prepare mark sheets of students using RDLC reports by calculating their marks and CGPA

What I have tried:

I'm basic learner student. so i can only able to select data from database using RDLC.
i don't know how to submit Data into database using RDLC? can web submit data into database using RDLC report using Asp.net?

Solution 1

A report is a report, only meant to present, group and summarize data from a datasource, it is not supposed to be an input-interface. At least not as far as I know.
You could build a web site for that, but since you stated that you are a fresh learner, the learning-curve may be quite steep for you.
