Singapore NRIC/FIN number validation

I would like to validate if the Singapore NRIC number input by user is valid. The NRIC is generated based on http://codingncryptography.tripod.com/01NRIC.htm [^]

I have tried but wont work my way. Anyone pros done this before? I have searched in the web for this solution for very long but seems no one has solve it. Thanks and kudos to the one who can help me

What specific problem are you facing? The link you provided had the steps so what are you stuck on?

The procedure is very well explained on that site, and even has an example for an invalid NRIC number. Quite easy to convert to code. So, start thinking about the implementation.
