Child gridview inside of Parent Gridview

Is there any possible way with the gridview in ASP.NET to have a parent gridview which will have a button or something like a tree view to open a child gridview inside of it. So the top record will have records from the child table.

I have seen it with DevExpress, but the company I work for won't purchase anything like that.

Any help and guidance will be greatly appreciated.
