You will need the data structure (pointer to data), and a set of functions each of them performing a linked-list specific operation plus linked list creation/deletion. e.g.: LinkedList_Create(), LinkedList_Delete(), LinkedList_InsertItem(), LinkedList_RemoveItem(), LinkedList_FindItem(), ...

It covers how linked lists are done given the points it has earned seems a correct article, but be careful, there are lots of comments that say that the implementation is not good. See the theory involved there.
