Fingerprint Scanner in Web

Hello All,

I really need your help to figure out the solution for my problem. I have a web based application where I want attendance from client side using a fingerprint device. So device will be stay at client place and will communicate to application DB.

Any kind of really appreciate. Thanks in Advance.

Solution 1

This gets asked so often.... There's no way to do this with web based code. The most you can do is to try to write an activeX component, assuming that it will allow you to access the peripheral, and then write some code to send the data to your server.
