could you sent me a copy of your code, i have been trying for months to get a face recognition program to work in vb

The odds of you learning C++ and writing such a system, even if you have a full year to do it, are close to zero.  Choose something sensible.  Why are you learning C++ in your final year ? I mean, surely if you have to do something like this, it would mean you've been programming all along, why not use the language you learned to do something sensible ?

This does not sound like an achievable goal in the time you have left. Are you saying that you will not pass your finals without this project? Assuming you are talented, have a programming background, and are a quick learner, then you could become proficient in C++ within 2/3 months. Whether you could produce such an application in the remaining time is anyone's guess. I would suggest you start searching Google for possible information on this.

That sounds like quite the task, especially if you don't know anything about C++. I recommend you pick up a C++ book and/or do some online tutorials, such as this one. Since you have very little time, you might want to stick with a light book, such as C++ for Dummies.
