Is it possible to make the webcam of a pc acting as an ambient light sensor? I am using .Net 4.5 framework in Windows 8 pro.

I'm not sure about the infra red range part though :(

Solution 1

It is definitly possible if your camera has infra red range, since the burglar alarms use it, but I dont know if the Webcam goes low enough in frequency. See this[^].

I found this on Google btw, so you should definatly give that site a try first ;)
