i am developing one payroll system..
can anyone tell me what are the areas or rather options i have to take in consideration.
means in the MDI form menu what are the most common payroll system options i can use...

Start by providing basics of payroll. Get equipped with knowledge of what all are needed and how it works. Implement it and add features one-by-one.

Yes, you need to read, study any existing system or talk to payroll vendor to understand it's workflow structure.

If you get stuck in implementing it technically, do post specific issue and I am sure others would love to help.
