I am looking to program a piece of software that can read RSS feeds. I am working in VB 2010 Express to which I am relatively new to and I require some guidance.

I am wanting to take the feeds from the BBC News site.
I would like the Title of each item as well as the headline to then be put into a label so I can have it scrolling across the screen.

The label would obviously need to resize according to the length of the information that comes from the RSS feed.

I have tried to source some jumping off points from various forums and online research but seem to have come up short and to be honest have confused myself to the point where im starting again and hoping that you can give me a fresh perspective.

The problem I seem to be encountering for the most point is that my code becomes overly complicated and lose my thread of thought.

I am not wanting you to write the code for me, more guide me so I can learn the best way to solve this problem and improve my programming skills.

I am open to other ways of solving this other than the way I have in mind and appreciate any help out there.
