hi am new to sqlserver 2008 unfortunately i clicked detach in tasks of database with project tables developed by some body..... after clicking this detach in tasks of database that is not appearing in object explorer how to get database back to object explorer help me in detail

I refreshed the screen before adding the answer, it showed me nothing. Suprisingly the time difference between the answers is about 5 mins. :omg:

Solution 2

I am considering you are using SQL Server Management Studio.

Connect to the server you want the database in. Right click the database folder and say "Attach". A screen will come up and you will need to provide details like the mdf file of the database.
