I would like to implement a solution using ASP.Net dynamic data where, the list of tables being displayed should be dependent upon the role of the logged in user. Now this authentication need to be done using DB tables rather than aspnet_users table. The reason being, I need to perform Role menu mapping for pages to roles and this is not possible while using ASP.Net authentication.

Hence, I created a couple of tables in my DB containing the screen name and role associated to it, determining whether it should be visible or not to the respective role. However, I couldn't find much information regarding implementation of custom authentication in ASP.Net dynamic data.

Could you please help?

Thanks & Regards,
