VB tcp modbus commands to read slave registers and display data at master (pc)

I wish to create a program that will allow a PC to read specific data from a slave devices registers. This info will be in either 16 or 32 byte formats
The slave has an IP address and required data registers are known.

The slaves IP protocol is modbus.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
