how to assign gridview id to jquery function

hi,

i a webpage that is master/child relationship i.e my child page contains textbox and button when i click button data should bind to gridview from database here my grid contains 50 rows so i need to create fixed header and vertical scroll for grid for this i have searched in goolge i got one simple jquery plugin i tested that in one webpage that contains only gridview (id="girdview1") no other control its working fine when i have applied the same functionalities in my application gridview (id= "subordresGrid") its not working and i have observed here that is my appliction id is subordresGrid when i seen in viewsource from browser the id of my application gridview is changed to "ctl00_mainContent_subordresGrid" and i observer in my test applicatin gridview id same in page viewsource and i have tried with jquery function is as:

so please give solution and where i have done mistake....
