Hi I have formatted a hard drive and have installed windows in it can i recover data from that hard drive please help me out thanks.

Try Recuva.. It is specially made to recover data from formatted disks. Its free
Recuva free[^]

Remember, data recovery is never 100% perfect. If you have used the hard disk for saving/moving data after the format, the disk sectors are overwritten and data is not recovered

IF your question is "how do i save my files after formatting" then you cant

because your files then are already Lost ...

You can easily recover all data after formatting hard drive. There are several tool available and i have used Kernel for Windows Data Recovery software to recover data from formatting hard drive so I would like to advice you, try this tool. http://www.windowsdatarecovery.recoverlostfile.net[^]
