Having problem of displaying website on desktop or laptop ?

I am working on a small project and I created my project on desktop computer at home. using visual studio 2008. but the problem is that when I brought my project for presentation, in USB to run at 17 in screen laptop. It cant display properly as in desktop. i tried to adjust the screen resolution but it can't work. All the Icon, buttons, text are looking small in laptop.

the main problem is displaying the report it opens but not in sort or well order.
the lines are up and down with no proper sequence.

Please help!

Not a question. What do you want to achieve?
Well, you designed a site in a wrong way, so what? Don't want to fix it or what?

If you wanted some particular help, you would show some code sample or something, but you did not provide any relevant information.
