Hai...
i am new to Dotnet. I have recently got trained on Dotnet(c#,ASP.Net) and now i am facing quite difficult to write a code for a particular event. Could anyone plz tell me how to start writing code. Are there any books to follow?

Careful John, this is probably the guy who caused your last job to be made redundant.

You have been trained on .NET and you find it "difficult" to start writing code?!

I wonder what sort of training was that.

There are many books, actually. See C# Book Recommendations[^]

I'm guessing you are not a programmer and have just started learning programming by learning .NET. Yes, there are books. Lots of them. Do some searches on Amazon.com.

Yet another testament to how little 'training' is worth in third world countries. As others said, buy a book. If you need to handle an event, you don't even need to write code, just look for it in the designer. If you'd been more specific, we could give more specific help.

I suggest you find another line of work. Maybe... running the machine that puts ridges on the sides of checkers.
