How to create multiple languages in ASP.NET?

I am developing a multi-language website first time. Can anyone provide me with a step by step guide? If possible make a demo for a multilanguage website. Or please refer me to any link where it explains the details about it.

This is a very well documented area, so if you have searched and found nothing suitable then the issue is probably what you consider to be "suitable". Please explain the solutions you have found that you consider not suitable so people don't waste their time suggesting things you have already discounted.
