When trying to open the excel workbook in win 10 getting the below error
Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. If you click continue the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue

it was working fine in win 7.
Do we need to do any changes to work in 2010

What I have tried:

I checked in win2010 and also verified the excel but still getting the error. Even checked the excel driver and is correct and using excel 12

Maybe keep running it in Windows 7 then.

Here are a few things that you can do: If you developed the solution, or have access to the source code, try to debug and see what is going wrong—in most cases, the .NET framework version is not available, or something like that.

If you do not have access to the code, or maybe bought the product, try to contact the developer and let them know you are facing this issue.

Other than that, there is little to no help that can be given on this.

It was migrated to win2010 but this is not working in win2010. Checked the source code and it is using the correct drivers which is excel 12. It seems i dont have .NET framework. So will this be a problem? If i install .NET framework will it work?
