Hey i want to migrate the sql server 2005 database to sql server 2008 database. how can i do this? the 2005 database also contains the store procedure and functioni need to migrate that too in sql server 2008. best post are surely appreciable

Both the solutions are appreciated but i don't do this migration manually i need a tool to migrate 2005 to 2008. for example we want to migrate access database to sql server mean we use SSMA tool for migration. In the same way how we can migrate the sql server 2005 to 2008 by a tool.

Solution 4

"Data Loader" is a Tool is used to migrate the sql server 2005 to 2008. Same way is used to migrate the MSQL,Access,Oracel Database also.
