We are migrating Stored Procedure from MS SQL Server to mysql.
We ran into problems with sp_xml_preparedocument.

If anyone have suggestion, please do not hesitate

MySQL has the following functions to work on Xml[^]. try looking at them.
ExtractValue()  Extracts a value from an XML string using XPath notation
UpdateXML() Return replaced XML fragment
