I tried to use the Class Wizard to create an OnCreate message handler in CView class. I got the following:

int CJBK_View::OnCreate(LPCREATESTRUCT lpCreateStruct)
  if (CView::OnCreate(lpCreateStruct) == -1)
    return -1;
    return -1;
    // TODO: Add your specialized creation code here
    return 0;

Where did the @RO and #3016 come from? ClassWizard bug? I can't find any reference to it online, including this site.

Why should anyone care about the code produced by the class wizard? Weird, yes. After all, just write the class you want...

The class wizard does a lot more than just generate simple class definitions. It's a real time saver in Windows GUI projects.

Wow, I hope "the next release of Visual Studio" doesn't mean VS2013+... (not that I've ever used them, but it would probably be irritating to those who do).

It'll likely be a service pack.

Version one of each Visual Studio edition has always been a bit buggy. they iron these out with a SP quickly enough.
Ah, a bug... too bad. My 5 for finding it out.

The work around is easy. Delete the junk code...
