How can I change my password from the temporary password?

After failing to log in my password, I obtained a temporary password. I'm now logged in and I want to change the temporary password to something I can remember.

What I have tried:

I've tried logging in with my password several times. A obtained a temporary password and I want to change the temporary password to a password I can remember. I searched the website but did find an guidance.

Password for what? This site? Windows? Your bank? WHAT?

NB: The only secure password is the one you can't remember[^]

Don't change your password to something you can remember. Use a password manager instead.

Solution 1

Hover over your username at the top right of the page.

From the drop down, select "My Settings"

The main page of the settings (the "Account" page) lets you enter a new password by clicking "Change" beside "Password" - just do so, and press the "Save my Settings" button.
