Crystal Reports 2008 does not support 64 bit, it's 32 bit only. To continue using CR 2008, which is version 12.x.x.x, 10.5 is CR Basic included with VS 2008, you need to run everything in 32 bit mode on the 64 bit OS.

Or use CR 10.5 runtime which does include a 64 distribution package but is limited in it's abilities at runtime, exporting and database connectivity.

Or upgrade to CR for Visual Studio 2010 to get as much 64 bit support the we have. It does require you to upgrade to VS 2010 also.
