Hi all,

I have an Excel list of roughly 200 names. I need to be able to click a link next to the text in Excel and pre-fill a specific text box on a website. After the text is pre-filled, I will click search and will be given the results.

This is what I have so far:

=HYPERLINK("https://sanctionssearch.ofac.treas.gov/?q=" & A5, "Click here")

If you go to the above website, you will see where the text box "Name" is shown. This is where I need the text to pre-fill from cell A5 after I click in this example.

Can someone help?

What I have tried:

I've searched online and most of the solutions I found did not work. When I click the link from Excel it just shows the page with nothing filled in.

Internet explorer is the simplest way to achieve what you wish. Otherwise you can use Selenium Basic with appropriate webdriver for your browser.
