I am creating word vba code for opening internet explorer


set IE = CreateObject("InternetExplorer.Application")

this code shows runtime error
unspecified error

What I have tried:

In there you will find many suggestions to use an actual reference to "Microsoft Internet Controls" and to create the object like this
set IE = New InternetExplorerMedium
