How do I add a new database item?

Based on this article i created a database window, where i can add new items and modify that items in the database: Database Context.
I launch the Database Window from the Main Window.

So far it works good.

Actually i'm preparing the job applications from another Window. There i would like to add the data of each newly created job application to the database from that window.

What i have to do, to get that running?
