Hi, I got VS 2010 express edition installed in my Windows 7 ultimate. Now, I want to upgrade it from express to ultimate. So, should i remove it entirely and then download the ultimate or is there any other solution?

Check the documentation that comes with the ultimate edition.

You don't have to remove it, but keeping it might have no sense if you got Ultimate. And there is no upgrade; this is the installation of a separate product.

I am 99.99% sure that they can both be installed side by side.

But yes, you need to install the ultimate separately.
