My HTML is not updating with my CSS

So I am trying to style my html page but the css file isn't connecting to it for some reason. When I inspect the file it says theres and error and that the file doesn't exist even though it does and it has a folder with it in it, additionally its the only styles sheet I have. When I inspect it here is what it says "The file "stvles.css" couldn't be opened because there is no such file" and yes styles.css is the name of the file I have checked so many times.

What I have tried:

I tried creating new style sheets and I tried starting over.

No code = no way to help debug. Open dev tools, go to the network tab, and check to see if there are no errors.

it's a wrong 'path'.

when the css file is in the same location , the filename.css is enough.
but through another folder you have to mention the folder/filename.css as 'path'.

yes styles.css is the name of the file

The error clearly states that the file you're trying to import is not the same as the file you've created.

You're trying to import stvles, but your file is called styles.
