Suggestions for HTML

hi there for fast programing in the text area of an element when i type something the suggestion stop me to move for pressing tab how i can fix(sorry for my English)

What I have tried:

for example:

<pre><div class="container">
      <div class="left">footer</div>
      <div class="right"></div>

well in .left i wrote footer but it automatically suggests me the footer element
