Are you asking how to know the data type of the cell? Header cell most of the times will have name of the column and it will be string only.

I have one excel sheet with five columns and each column header cell having different datatypes(like:Numeric, currency, accounting, date, time) so what i want is each column header cell type through programmatically(using Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel)?

Try using Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.XlColumnDataType enumeration or use NumberFormat property of the Range Interface.
