How to set a query to report viewer during run time?

Hi,

I have a web application connected to sql server database. I'm using a report viewer to generate some reports. The user wants to select the columns that will be displayed in the report according to his need.

My question is: is there a possibility to set the query of the report viewer during run time? so when the user selects the columns, the query constructed and set.
