Huh? You are having a tough time understanding the code you wrote????
Giggsey73 4-Mar-13 10:36am
No, it's not my code. Just a template from elsewhere.

Okay so what is your question? Do you really think that it's wise to use random code that you got from "elsewhere" when you might be held liable for monetary errors as a result?

Nope. It's not a random code. To be precise, it's a bunch of old code designed by previous programmer of my workplace.I use it as a template and need to refine it. Haha, i'm willing to take the risk :)

Okay so? You still have not stated an answerable question or described a problem. You might be willing to take the risk but *I* would not.

1 solution

Never, ever, accept code from a insecure website to handle anything to do with real money.
You do not know who is giving you the code, you do not know what it does, you do not know that it places the monies correctly into the appropriate account, without passing the details to any third parties.

Only get such code from reputable card transaction service companies - the scope for fraud otherwise is far to large. And remember, you personally could be liable for any monies lost if your action is seen to be negligent - which getting your code from a public forum would most certainly be!

It is a legit company, rest assured. There's no fraud involved whatsoever nor will I involve myself in a money fraud. Anyway, it is meant for testing only, NOT real money transfer...

Not what I meant. I meant that if you want to be safe, you should not get code from anywhere unsafe...

Good Lord. The codes are legit and secure and no fraud or malice is intended. For testing purpose only. I just wanna some explanation about the codes bcoz I can't seem to get any resources from the Net.
