How to sum column in crystal report

Hi,

How do I calculate sum of a column in crystal report ?

Eg:

[No]  [Name]      [value]
 1      a           2
 1      a           3
 1      a           5
 1      a           4
 2      b           1
 2      b           2
 3      c           10

I want to display like this.

Copy Code

[No]   [Name]        [Value]
 1       a             14
 2       b             3
 3       c             10

Solution 1

You need to create grouping sections. You can then add a formula field that sums the values per group. Drag that formula field on the form in the group footer section.

You can simply use save the data as int data type and after getting the on the Crystal Report you can use Sum Field of the Crystal report.
