how to disable ispostback in asp.net master page?

i have downloaded menu from apycom.com so then i put it to my asp.net master page as a menu, but when i click on the menu it will not highlight the selected tab, it will refresh the whole page. PLEASE HELP ME....????????????????????????????????????????????????????

there are 3 files, jquery,js, and menu.css can i please know what code i must include inside
