I need to create a graph from a number of values , which are only obtained when the program is running.

I have created a GUI which will call command prompt and execute some commands. I get various values from this which needs to be plotted in a graph.
If I store them in a variable, then at the end, they just turn out to be zero and I am not able to incorporate them in the graph.

I am using Visual Studio 2008 with Chart-Addons on 3.5 .NET framework.

Thank you in advance.
I really appreciate it!

Try storing the variables in Session and then pull them back out at then end when you need them.

Session? Not for winforms.

Dang, I was only looking at the tags and did not see the huge letters that said Windows Forms. My mistake.

Real time, no kidding? What do you thing "real time" is? :-)

So your problem is: You just don't see the values in your graph? I'd guess there is something wrong with your "recording" code. Let the Debugger run, and have a look... Btw. I had to record "real-time data" coming from a special kind of serial communications hardware. (this hardware produced exact timestamps, so I could show them async ordered by timestamp in a Producer-consumer pattern). I mention this because you may seek further advice if you have to handle kind of "real-time" data.

Yes, the problem is I have no recording code as such.
I don't have a way to store the data I get into a variable!
If that can be solved, then I can implement it in my chart..
