dear Friends,
I make a small application which is just upload file from hard disk to Server, i have 8 different locations and every location little bit change file like
LOC04 etc

Here i want when the application installed user can add manually file name for the first time.

so how can i store this file name w/o using any data base .. thanks for your help

You can either store this information in a file somewhere appropriate or in the registry. Personally, I like the file option better as it's more flexible.

file means use some .txt file or else ???

Text file, XML, binary (not recommended in thsi case), application settings, ...

For settings, you can start by reading

For serializeing an object you make to XML you can read,or.r_qf.&fp=78381bbe686eaba4&biw=1920&bih=1105
