Hosting Windows WCF Service in IIS 7.5

Hi,

Currently i'm using IIS 6.0 to host my wcf service (windows based) application, i planned to host my service to IIS 7.5 server(windows 7 R2). So what are the benifits over these two?
Is IIS 7.5 is compatible to acquire the hosted service from Windows XP platform? Kindly share your suggestions.
